OK at low volumeDecember 2, 2008 We purchased this product to play music for a cardio-tennis gathering. The distortion at higher volumes was pronounced. At lower volumes this unit does fine. As a small portable for around the house, or maybe even around a campsite, it is also fine. We were just a bit discouraged at the distortion levels at higher volumes.
Good little system, but why the price increase?November 24, 2008 I bought this to use at work and have not been disappointed at all in the sound quality. It plays the bass notes well for a system of this size and I haven't noticed distortion when I've turned it up.
The great news is that it works with the 2nd generation iPod Touch, which was a nice surprise when I upgraded my Touch.
The bad news is that it won't work with the 3rd generation iPhone.
The realy bad news is that Amazon charged me only $33.52 in September when I originally bought it. I returned today to buy a second one only to see the price inflated by $22, quite a price increase! I'll look elsewhere for one or wait til the price is lowered.

Great valueNovember 21, 2008 For the price, I don't think you'll find a better product. Sounds great...gets loud enough to nicely fill a room. Also charges the IPod (well, it charges our two Nano 3Gs), so it's nice to bring on vacation and not need a laptop or other charger for the Ipod.
