Bose speaker mounting bracketsSeptember 7, 2008 I bought the less expensive non-Bose wall mounts and installed my speakers with them. I was less than thrilled because they 'stuck out' a least 3" from the wall. It just looked odd in my family room setting. (It may look fine in yours.)
I didn't want attention drawn to my surround sound system which is why I went to the Bose manufactured mounting brackets. It gives a very clean look to the speakers as a "flowing" part of the decor and not a dangly look.

Clear-Crisp SoundJune 24, 2008 I thought my Bose system sounded great until I mounted the speakers on the wall. I had them on the TV stand in front of the TV. When they were moved to the wall, I couldn't believe what I was missing. The sound filled the room, DVD'S were like being at the Movies. Plus I got a great deal buying on Amazon rather then from BOSE.
