5 out of 5 stars Great Product   August 28, 2008
I found this extender to work perfectly with my Comcast Box. There is no delay and has great range. I have not tried with any other products but I highly recommend to any one who wants to remote their cable box in another location. The only downside, in my opinion, is it is a little silly looking.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product   August 27, 2008
As a typical consumer, I was skeptical about this product. I charged the batteries and hooked everything up. This thing works GREAT!. I couldn't believe the reception through doors, etc. Super product!

5 out of 5 stars Works Great!   August 25, 2008
I have been using this for almost a year and it works fantastic. I have all of my AV equipment in a closet and ran the cables through the attic to keep things clean. With a fan at the bottom of the closet I can keep the door cracked but to increase the success of the extender I hung a full length mirror on the back of the closet door. This is an amazing piece of electronics.

5 out of 5 stars This product is amazing   August 23, 2008
I wanted to move my cable box away from the living room and needed a ir extender for my remote, and after researching and reading the reviews of this unit, i decided to give it a try. I was amazed how well this thing worked, I just replaced one of my batteries in the remote (uses two AAA) with the rf device supplied and inserted the power adapter into the receiver and it worked. It had the added benefit (that I didnt think about when I ordered it) that it converted my ir remote into an rf one, so as my bedroom tv and living room tv are connected to the same cable box, I just bring my remote with my to my bedroom in the evenings, and it works perfectly from there as well.

This product is highly recommended.

5 out of 5 stars Works well with my SA 8300HD DVR.   August 21, 2008
I was given a Terk LF-30S wireless audio/video transmitter for my birthday. The Terk LF-30S has a remote control extender built-in, but it didn't work with my remote control (a Scientific Atlanta 8300HD DVR remote control, model number AT8550). I was able to get the Next Generation remote control extender to work just fine after switching it to "position A" (it defaults to position B).

So now I have a perfect solution for transmitting my DVR audio/video stuff and controling it remotely in my house.

By the way, there's a discussion forum on Amazon about the device and how to get it to work with the 8300HD DVR. That's where I learned about the trick switching it from B to A to get it to work.
