Good Motorola ProductOctober 12, 2008 Good price for a great product. The extra feature that allows disconnecting the LAN while keeping connected to the WAN is a great security feature.
Great Modem- No need for Comcast's charge monthlyOctober 10, 2008 Love it and it works fine; was not hard to do after a call to Comcast to set it up
Good ventilation requiredOctober 4, 2008 I have this modem for about 2 years now. It started to develop a symptom that seems to relate to heat. If I lay down the machine, the bottom side will become hot and the machine will stop functioning.
Other then that there is no problem.
Works as describedOctober 4, 2008 Not much to say other than it works as advertised with Comcast's cable service. Supports boost too.
Had to Return ProductOctober 3, 2008 Although we were highly satisfied with the item in the first few days, it died within a week. We thought the source of the problem was our cable company, and we tried to troubleshoot with them for over a week. In the end, the problem was with the modem. All of the lights on the unit were lit, yet there was no signal being transmitted.
While we may have received the only faulty unit from the bunch, I have no other choice than to say I would not recommend this product.
