Sony VCL-DEH08R 0.8x Wide End Conversion Lens for DSC-R1 Digital Camera
Image quality is excellent with no discernible drop from that of native lens. Build quality is good. Enables ultra wide shots suitable for real estate and architectural work (equivalent to 19mm in 35mm film). Needs a VAD-RA adapter - is still available - I sourced mine from the UK.
Is much better than generic adapters as is designed for the optics of the native lens. Strongly recommended but is heavy. I recommend using a monopod with it.

Maybe this lens is great, but Amazon does not indicate that the VAD-RA adaptor is needed to attach it -- and that is currently unavailable.
