Great addition to Kindle or any bookOctober 6, 2008 I bought this for my husband's Kindle, and he LOVES it. Doesn't have to use it often, since the Kindle is bright enough usually, but it's extremely handy in a darkened room. And he loaned it to a friend traveling with us, who used it to read her book while her sick husband slept the day away. So, I recommend for Kindle users and for anyone who wants to read in bed without disturbing his/her spouse.

Almost perfectOctober 4, 2008 I sell book lights. I have been in the electronic gadget business for nearly 40 years. This is a wonderful, traditional book light. It is the only book light that I have used in a fully bright, day lit room. It is very well constructed, easy to set for optimum light control and the light volume is great. The LED lights are the way of the future and they are used wonderfully well in this product. I have been through 3 novels on one set of batteries, and still no loss of brilliance. This is a very well made light.
I still have not found a light that does not wake my wife late at night. I think that will require a tent like structure. In the meanwhile, this is the best book light I have ever owned or sold.
Not bad, but could be betterOctober 1, 2008 i bought this with my Kindle and it gets a lot of use, but the batteries don't seem to last as long as they should seeing as this is an LED light. what else can you say, it's a light, it works and it'll clip to just about anything and it's flexible head seems to stand up well to use. the dual brightness settings are nice too.
I clip it to my headboardSeptember 30, 2008 This is a great little light. I clip it to my headboard instead of my book and it works out great. There is padding on the clip so it doesn't scratch my headboard. I bought two lights, one for my side and one for my husband's side of the bed. The light is definitely dim enough so it does not bother your partner if they are sleeping. The light also has the ability to be easily manipulated so it is shining directly on your book.
