Great!October 25, 2008 These JVC earphones are 4/5 because of the following reasons.
1) They tend to SOMETIMES fall off your ear easily when you are doing stuff which conflicts with the wire, so put them inside of your shirt and you're good to go.
2) The ear piece is very very very comfortable, it sometimes doesn't even feel like Im wearing earphones.
3) The sound quality is PRETTY GOOD but not as loud as others.
Great valueOctober 2, 2008 I was only looking for cheap headphones to replace my ipod earbuds. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sound that comes out of these earphones. I think these deliver a fuller sound than the ipod earbuds, but that may be because the earbuds never really fit in my ears. The package contains two different sizes for the inner ear foam, so they easily fit in my ear and drown out a great deal of noise from around the office. This is an incredible deal for the $10 price tag.

I bought these because I have small ear canals. A few hours into a day at work or after a workout, my iPod earbuds were killing me. These stay in place while I run and the "marshmallow" is not painful whatsoever.
I was worried the foam would squish up and not decompress after use, but that's not a problem.
Two things to note: - You have to wiggle them around a little to get them in place perfectly. After that, you'll have great sound (not perfect, of course. They're <$20!). - If you're doing anything active, wear them with the cords cinched behind your head. That keeps the loud sound from the thumping of the cord against your chest out of the picture. At first I was pretty disappointed that I had to deal with that sound, but I realized what the little movable white piece of rubber was for and was happy again.

I had these for a few weeks and wasn't impressed with the sound. As a last resort before giving up on them I squeezed the foam part down till it was really small & narrow and gave them another try. It made a world of difference.
When these buds are in correctly you do not get the tinny sound - you get a full spectrum with robust bass.
