very disappointedSeptember 5, 2008 Love my Navigon GPS - Hate the lifetime traffic! You have to manually press it to know that traffic may be stopped up ahead at some unseen point. If it is not a major road it will not show up even when activated by the driver. Once you make the decision to get off away from the traffic jam it starts to route you right back to the jam. A waste of time and money.
Navigon Traffic SercieSeptember 1, 2008 Not recommendable; It is so much dependent on the availablity of traffic update from the designated FM station in the area. Re-routing is horrible its better not to purchase this.
great priceAugust 16, 2008 From what I have read this is the same traffic service that all of the brands use to get their traffice data. The data is presented well and the price on amazon is very low. Most other GPS's charge a monthly fee for this service, so this is a great deal.
Navigon Life Time traffic updateAugust 13, 2008 It sounded great, live time traffic update in most major cities, etc. It has not given any information since the day I have activated it. And I live in NYC, and drive a lot, and I have Navigon 2100. Well, it is doing nothing in my Navigon 2100 so far, nada, absolutely nothing, kind funny, but true, wondering if one day in the future it will show at least some traffic update...?
I really think it's easy money Navigon is making, and making a fool out of the buyers of this product. So disappointed and sad.

This a a product that you really need with the GPS. The GPS usually takes you on all the freeway routes. But with the Traffic Service it warns you of impending traffic slowdowns and construction ahead of time and asks if you want to be rerouted. It is a must have.
