Terrible DurabilityOctober 6, 2008 Really enjoyed these because they sounded great, but didn't last more than 3 months. The coating around the wires started to peel away at both the earbuds and the jack. Really disappointing considering the price. Won't buy these again.
V-MODA Vibe Earbuds RockOctober 4, 2008 My V-MODA Vibe earbuds have lived up to the hype. The bass response is wonderful and to leave out great reviews of the mid and high ranges would be a crime. Overall, they have brought my Zune to life and of course my vast music collection is now all the more enjoyable!
Looks good but doesn't lastOctober 2, 2008 I bought these for over $100 from the apple store, but they lasted barely three months before one side went out. They look good and are stylishly designed and come with the remote answer/hangup button just like the original iphone headset. The sound was average. Quite acceptable, but not as good as my Shure e2c in-ear phones. Definitely recommned looking elsewhere if you're going to subject these to anything but the gentlest usage.
WOWOctober 1, 2008 These earbuds are by far the best ones on the market for the money! The sound quality is phenominal! They cancel out sound really well even though that was not their intended purpose. They sound great on all kinds of music from hip-hop to large orchestral classic style music. The amount of bass that comes from these little earbuds rival my pro dj grade headphones. By far some of the best head phones on the market. If you are reading this and you have not bought these yet, go and buy a pair right now!
They Provide Great SoundSeptember 30, 2008 I purchased these earbuds in Ausust and so far they have been excellent. As stated in other reviews they do require "burning in" Out of the plastic (I guess nobody uses boxes anymore.)the bass was overpowering the mid range, but after playing them for 8-10 hours that went away. Now I find that the bass is excellent.the Highs come through very crisp and clean. The mid range is slightly mellow, which I find suites the types of music I like. Others may like a sharper sound. You do hear things in the music you didn't hear before. I have had no issues with the earbuds not working, (I hope it stays that way). I am no expert but to me they sound great.
