Thoroughly dropped and still workingJuly 22, 2008 I have had this case for almost the entire life of my iPod (over a year) and I'm pretty impressed. Here's my breakdown:
Pros: -Can take a lot of hits (probably 10+ hard-surface drops so far; case pops apart to dissipate energy, pops right back in) -Allows access to all ports -Looks pretty awesome -Has yet to allow one bit of damage to my iPod
Cons: -After a year, it's pretty scratched up and at least the front part needs to be replaced so I can see the screen clearly -The scroll wheel can be a little clunky with the cover on -Somewhat bulky compared to the iPod by itself
The scroll wheel thing hasn't been an issue for me, but I know some people care about that sort of thing. The screen's level of destruction is more my fault than the case's, since it gets stuck in a purse full of danger (pens, keys, etc) on a regular basis. The bulkiness only makes me sad in the way that I felt when I had one of those old brick-looking Nokia phones...technology had come so far with making things slim and sleek, and I had to carry *this* thing around. Since my use of the iPod does not require it to be sleek, it's not a huge problem, but I am considering going with a silicon sleeve as my next case because I like how small the iPod is by itself.
Overall, a very effective and cool-looking case with a few flaws.
Good protectionJune 6, 2008 Have had good luck with the product protecting my ipod. Will note that the case may make it hard to dock your ipod in some devices.
Sturdy and Classy protection for your iPodMay 12, 2008 The case fits my iPod Video (80gb) perfectly. I love the brushed metal look on the front, and it does an excellent job of protecting my iPod from scratches and falls. I use it whenever I'm out and about, and whenever I stuff my iPod into my purse. The only thing I'm not crazy about is how I have to remove my iPod from it's case to plug it in to the speakers on my desk, the sterio at home, and the radio transmitter in my car. Yes, there's a slot on the bottom of the case for connectivity, but most iPod docking situations become an issue because of the thickness of the case.
Simple, elegant, awesome.April 11, 2008 I've owned 2 of these cases now and they just plain rock. If you are looking for a simple case to throw in your pocket for travel, GRAB THIS. Being plastic, it scratches under heavy wear, hence the reason I have 2 of these now (all I have is a tiny scratch on my old one, im a [...]). I live in the US but travel to Central America about half the year and this case gets the job done for me. This thing covers the entire iPod which is huge. I had a friend compare another one to this, which was also plastic, and his reply to why the other brand was better was because it had a kickstand...FTW, but no screen or wheel protection. I would take the protection over a lame kickstand anyday. No complaints other than why does plastic scratch, but I'll leave that one for the birds.

Good case, scratches easilyApril 11, 2008 This is a great case for protecting your Ipod. Every part of the ipod is protected. Only problem with the case is that it scratches easily. But isn't that the purpose of the case, to protect the ipod from all the handling and elements?!
