Knife setDecember 2, 2008 Nice set of knives for price. Biggest draw back is knives as received are not very sharp and must be honed. Finish and fit are good. For the price this was a very good value considering that just one knife from some brands are more expensive than this set of 22.
Good blades but handles cracked even handwashedNovember 28, 2008 We picked up the red version on Gold Box special, and we thought they were a great deal. The quality seemed good and the blades were sharp. There are lots of comments on how you have to hand wash them. Well we have no dishwasher, and I generally wash knives carefully. In this case almost all the steak knives bent a little and the handles cracked. They are still useable but I think I will avoid plastic handles in the future.

Great Package, Great quality you would expect except...November 16, 2008 Love the knives, sharp, very nice looking great wood block, also a bonus of a cutting board. I like the fact it also comes with a sharpener. ONE thing though the scissors are on the little cheap side and thats why I gave 4 out of 5. If the scissors where a little tougher and better built I would have a 5 of 5 for them. They broke within the first month and keep forgetting to contact them for a replacement. Overall VERY HAPPY.
