Woo hoo! I finally found another Rubbermaid butter dish!September 1, 2008 Having kids, I LOVE this butter dish. No breaking, lightweight, easy to clean. Ours got melted by being placed a little too close to a hot burner and we've been looking for a replacement for months. I teased that I'd try Amazon and there it was! I love the look of the more expensive butter dishes but this is just so functional that it's everybody's favorite.

ok butter dishFebruary 9, 2008 This butter dish is ok, but the lid does not stay on when you pick it up and it is not very attractive. It does the job, but the one that I used to have (can't remember the brand) the lid would stay on much better.
