Best unknown product of its kindJune 21, 2008 I saw this item in a mail order catalog a year or two ago and got one. It is made by a well known manufacturer and has been available for a few years - yet almost nobody knows about it! I've yet to encounter a barrista who has ever heard of it. In fact, one tried to pour the latte from the paper cup into the metal sleeve. Why Starbucks doesn't sell these is a mystery to me. Really great product!
Hot and Tidy!January 15, 2008 I bought my first one of these about 4 years ago and just love it. It works well with the 16 or 20 oz paper cups from major coffee chains and keeps them hot for up to an hour in some cases. Also you don't need a paper sleeve to keep from burning yourself. I love mine because then I can make coffee at home (much better stuff than at the office) and put it in my paper cup and slide it in this holder. My coffee is still hot at work and everywhere in between. Then when the coffee is gone throw away the cup and NO CLEANING is needed. These are hard to find in stores so I have had to order online a couple of times to give to friends who are Starbucks addicts, they LOVE them. No this doesn't get rid of paper cups but it does make them easier to use and you don't end up with cold coffee as often.
A perfect thing!December 1, 2007 There are a few things that simply could not be improved upon. This is one of them. Takes a veinte cup and keeps it hot for hours. (It is said to take 16-oz cups too, but as a hard-core coffee drinker I could not attest to that:)
Wonderful!!July 10, 2007 I have used this cup insulator for years and I keep ordering more because my friends want them. They keep my coffee hot for hours. You just slide your coffee cup with the lid on it right into it and when your done, throw the cup away. No having to wash it our each time because it doesn't get dirty. It really keeps things hot or cold for a long time. I have no idea why stores don't carry them.
Nissan Cup Insulator the greatest inventionJanuary 17, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I travel a great deal. For years, I carried an insulated cup I bought at Starbuck's. Unfortunately, it got very messy and I found it difficult to keep it clean in hotel rooms.
The Nissan Cup Insulator solves my problems. I just place my nice fresh 16 or 20 ounce paper coffee cup into the insulator and away I go. When I'm done, I just throw away the cup and the insulator doesn't need to be cleaned so I can just put it in my bag and I'm off.
Starbuck's could make a fortune selling these things.
