Product Description The long pulled stem gives these glasses elegance, but the etched designs are what give them panache. Spirals, stripes, and polka dots distinguish each glass from its sibling. This will help when it comes time for guests to identify their own drink too! Very hip, lots of fun, chin chin!
Amazon.com Review Infuse a little whimsy into cocktail hour with Mikasa's unique Cheers stemware collection. This charming line features lead crystal glass adorned with etched detailing in a variety of styles. Each member of the four-piece set boasts one of the following patterns: pinstripes, horizontal lines, circles, or a swirl. With its slightly oversized martini shape, the glass stands 7-1/2 inches in height and offers a 7-ounce bowl--plenty of room for extra olives. Slender stems rest upon traditional circular bases while thin sipping rims are rounded for comfort. For a highly coordinated table, additional Cheers stemware is available including wine balloons, old fashioneds, flutes, and more. Fun, festive, and packaged in a gift box, these French glasses make an ideal housewarming gift. Hand washing is recommended. -- Amy Arnold
Nice Design - Poor Quality GlassAugust 28, 2008 The design of these Mikasa martini glasses is festive and fun.
Each one is adorned with a different sand blasted pattern. My favorite is the spiral - kind of like the cartoon symbol of confusion after being hit over the head.
But the execution is not good. Each glass contains bubbles, a definite no no in what's presented as a quality product.
That having been said, salut!
Very Pretty!July 5, 2008 I love this collection. I have the wine and martini glasses. Great product for the $$
Style at a great price.February 18, 2008 The Cheers set by Mikasa make great bar and drinking glasses. They have style, feel great in your hand all at at great price.
Excellent glassesJanuary 1, 2008 These glasses are wonderful. The 4 different designs are etched into the glass which should make them stand up over time better. They are the perfect size and shape. I highly recommend spending the extra couple of dollars and getting these quality glasses.
Junk glasses, pretty to look at, break far too easilyDecember 12, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought 12 glasses each of most of this set of Mikasa a couple years ago when it was on sale from Macy's thru Amazon. Forget washing in the dishwasher, you so much as look the wrong way at these and they break. They are not durable enough to be everyday use and not nice enough to justify taking up storage space as special occasion glasses. I am VERY disappointed in Mikasa, I would never buy from them again.
