I am in fear everytime I use this product.December 5, 2008 Every time I use this webcame and mike, I get negative feedback from by contact, saying such things as "you should get your money back". Biggest problem is audio connection. It's like being in a bad zone with a mobile phone. It's in and out, even when trying to tell the other party it works only one speaker at a time. I have a built in webcam on my laptop (different computer), and have no problems with my same contacts using it. I have tried rebooting. It could be my home computer, but I have no reason to suspect it.

Works fine most times, but is quirkyNovember 23, 2008 The video quality is decent and the microphone works very well. However, sometimes when you unplug it, the camera will uninstall itself. To reinstall it, you need to go through this lengthy process of doing a clean boot and some other tasks, outlined on the website. It is possible that my computer has trouble, but it works fine with other imaging devices (camera) as well other usb devices. The price is ok for what it is. I may try a different one next time due to the irritating connection issue.
Logitech Quickcam Communicate STXNovember 9, 2008 Good little product. Works well on Skype and has good full screen resolution. It doesn't support all the software features I would have liked so if you enjoy playing around with fun image features (ie turning yourself into a talking dinosaur) then I'd recommend the next model up.
