Good for PC not good for macSeptember 6, 2008 I love this camera for it's ease of use. I use it primarily for quick videos for work and for personal. My 9 year old nephew loves it as well, and can run the whole thing himself no problem.
Unfortunately it is not plug-and-play for mac OX10 and the new iMovie does not recognize the the file types. Apparently if you tweak some settings and do some conversions it works. But that sort of kills the whole point of an easy to use camera. I haven't had time to mess with it, so I can't use it with my mac, but it is quick and easy on the PC (XP operating system)
flip videoSeptember 6, 2008 This is a great item to carry with you all the time. I was just blessed with my first granddaughter, you can imagine how this camera has been over used.
We can keep everyone in the country updated on whats going on with the baby by emailing the videos.

Flip Video MinoSeptember 6, 2008 Flip Video Mino Series Camcorder, 60 Minutes (Black) I bought this for my husband right before we went to a musical performance by my son. With no time to learn anything about how to use it and it was very easy. The size makes it great to carry in your pocket. Just flip the usb plug and connect to computer- we downloaded the video in moments and were happy with the quality. Only wished it had more of a zoom feature. Decided to buy one for my college age daughter as well. Good product for the money.

Fantastic FlipSeptember 5, 2008 This little video camera is amazing! I purchased one for myself some months ago, primarily to take short movies of great-grandchildren. I've ended up using it for fun clips of get-togethers with friends, lovely shots of river views, and just fun shots. It is so easy -- and it is very simple to stitch together several clips to make a little movie, with or without background music. I was so impressed that I ordered two more - one for a young mother of a new baby, and the other for an old friend with health problems. They both love it! If you do not want to make professional quality films, but want to have a little camera that you can carry in a pocket or a purse, go for it! You won't be disappointed.
