Must-have especially for USM lensesOctober 3, 2008 An extra-battery is a must-have for "serious amateurs". I have a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens for Canon EOS SLR Cameras and it really sucks up the battery. If it wasn't for this backup, I would have been photo-paralyzed a couple of times. The battery also comes with a plastic protector for the contacts, as the one provided with the camera.

I am happy that I bought a spare battery for my Cannon. One is always charged and waiting so I never miss out on those great moments!!!
