These screens rockDecember 3, 2008 I must say, I was hesitant to use one of these screen films, as I had used something horrible on my Treo 650 years ago. But how times have changed. I now have had the elago film on my Samsung Instinct for around a month, and it shows no wear, is amazingly glare and smudge free and I have 2 more to boot! The installation was way easier then I expected, being a venerable klutz, so take heart all. I expect my elago films to outlast my phone.
Very impressive screen protectorDecember 2, 2008 The anti glare on this screen protector is pretty good. I can actually see every little icon on my phone with the sun shining it. It's extremely smooth and finger print resistant. There isn't any noticeable difference in touchscreen sensitivity. My finger just glides easier across the screen like when using the phone book. I do have about 3 very very light scratches that aren't really noticeable and I've had this screen protector for almost 6 months. My phone is always dropping or in my pocket with my keys. I'm going to pick up another anti-glare as well as a regular screen protector. These protectors are custom cut for the phone, apply easily, and work surprisingly better than advertised. I'm still going to get an invisible shield for my instinct but I just won't apply the piece for the screen so I can still use this anti-glare protector.
Not clearNovember 28, 2008 I've had other screens and have had problems with the glare so I bought this because of the anti-glare appeal. It's easy to put on if you use a credit card or something and has very minimal bubbles but the screen itself is milky white, it's not clear. That's really my only complaint, I haven't had a chance to see it in sunlight but I don't think the milky like coating is worth it. All in all you get what you pay for and I would just go with the clear one this company offers for the same price.
This smudge free screen protector is great!November 25, 2008 I had tried one of the mirror screen protectors because I thought it would be cool. It protected the screen but the smudges and glare were horrible. After reading the reviews for the elago Smudge Free Film Set for Samsung Instinct(M800) + Microfiber Cleaner, I decided to purchase one of these. I absolutely love it! It took me a few tries to get it on perfectly straight but it was easy to remove and reapply with no sticky residue (like I have heard some others have). Once I got it on, I had no problem getting the bubbles out. I can now see the screen much better in (or out of) the sunlight with minimal glare and my screen is no longer covered with fingerprints and smudges. I have noticed no interference with the touchscreen at all. I recommend this screen protector for anyone with an Instinct.
Easy to put on and the best quality screen protector!October 30, 2008 I was a bit skeptical about this anti glare protector, but decided what the heck. The elago anti glare is far superior than the other 3 screen protectors i tried. 1. It was the easiest of them all to put on, it bubbles far less than the other screen protectors. 2. The thickness of it will protect your screen, but also hardly, if at all, interferes with the touch screen. I bought 2 more for my mother and sister and they also thought they worked well. This is a great way to protect your screen. Now to get into the glare issue. This has been a major problem for the Instinct M-800 due to the glossy screen they chose to use. On a sunny day it can be nearly impossible to see your screen without shading the screen somehow. While this does not 100% alleviate this problem, it does make it possible to see the screen on a bright sunny day.
