Works great, but very short cordApril 7, 2008 I hadn't seen the length of this cord listed anywhere, so I wanted to mention that it's quite short (approximately 1 meter/3 feet). Otherwise, it's fantastic, but if you want to plug in your phone any distance from your computer/outlet, you'll need a USB extension.

Very good product. Solves the issue of charging via USB that is not included with the factory USB cord. Very compact, reel works very well. AC and DC attachments can be used with other USB charged items (i.e. iPOD)

The biggest downfall of the Samsung i760 is that the USB cable that you get from Samsung does not charge the phone while it is plugged into any USB port.
This sucks for those of us who use the phone as a modem to connect our laptops to the internet. Also sucks because you can just sync your phone to your PC and leave it to charge... Nope... you have to wait for the sync to complete, then plug the phone into its charger. Pain in the butt.
This product solves Samsung's lack of thought. Right now, I'm writing this review from a laptop, which is using my phone as a modem, with a little red light indicating that the phone is also charging. Which is great news for me because my battery was seriously low on juice and without this cable, I would have had to put off working on stuff for two or three hours while the phone charges up.
I'll probably end up buying one or two more of these cables.
