Lousy product - sheer waste of moneyAugust 27, 2008 I was shipped a cable and a software that just does not work at all! The software is an outdated version that is not compatible to the phone Motorola Razr2 V9m that it claims to be compatible to. And the cable does not even successfully connect the phone to the PC!!! Waste of money.
WTF?!?April 24, 2008 Bought this worthless piece of software through amazon, and just like another reviewer posted, the zip file won't extract. It's a corrupted file! Where do I get thr REAL phone tool software?!?!?!

The item sold is not from Motorola. It's a CD from "Easy Mobile Soft" that contains a link to a website. The Motorola phone tools download from that site is a corrupted zip file that is worthless.

Since I don't use my Razr for my calender, I have never used that function. However, the fact that this software let me access 3G network whenever there's no WiFi or ethernet. And the speed is only a bit slower than broadband, what more can you want? Plus the software enables you to make all the ringtones you want from your MP3 collection, another cool feature. The picture editor doesn't work real well but it lets you download pictures taken from the phone very easily. But the internet feature alone makes the software indispensable for me.

Customers beware; the V8 V9 V9m Phone Tools 4 (Software CD + Micro USB Data Cable) SVN5539S SKN6238A from Motorola does not support the Calendar function. I found this out after purchase and contacting Software Company. Also on the first import of address book the software deleted all my contacts on the phone. Not happy with this product at all. I pretty much wrote off the $20 bucks as a loss.
