This is a great tool. It's sharp, lightweight, and fits comfortably in my hand. Even my husband noticed how much easier it was for me to do the pruning. The only fault I see is the lock that engages sometimes while you're snipping. However, that is easily fixed and doesn't affect my satisfaction with this tool. I liked it so much that I bought one for my best friend.
expensive but worth every pennyAugust 8, 2008 these little nippers get into place big shears can't! They're great for deadheading or topping off plants so you get bushier growth. i bought my last pair about 10 years ago and they're still doing remarkably well for their age.
Very good small prunerAugust 3, 2008 This is just the right size for dead-heading flowers and pruning small diameter branches. I use it all the time
Essential garden/greenhouse toolJuly 31, 2008 This little tool has a solid feel in my hand and can cleanly prune or deadhead without cutting the stems you want to keep. A wonderful gift for a gardener and priced reasonably.
My favorite for deadheadingJuly 4, 2008 These are great for deadheading! The blades are so pointy that you can get right in to the exact spot you want to snip, without breaking off other stems and flowers you want to leave intact. They are super-sharp, and have a nice "ergonomically correct" feel. We bought one pair, then we bought more! We are avid gardeners are do a lot of deadheading. Examples: Perfect for exact and precise deadheading of peach-leaved bellflower, petunias, Sarastro bellflower. I think someone who arranges cut flowers would also like these snips.
