Too small for my purposeNovember 12, 2008 I purchased this item to hold my Magellan Maestro 4250 GPS and it would not expand enough to hold it. Just too small.
Nuvi 260 fits less than securelyOctober 31, 2008 Because of the wire that comes out from the back of the Nuvi 260, we have the GPS fitting but slightly off balance. Other than that, we find it much more convenient to have a GPS attached to the air vent than the windshield. Removing it off the air vent was a bit difficult (for our car), but if you rotate the hooks downward, and apply a little pull pressure, they come off.

Just got this. Amazing product. Build quality is decent. The fitting onto the air con vent is absolutely brilliant. There is no sort of movement after fitting it so it does not rattle however you can turn it 360 degrees as it is designed to use it in any position. The opening clasp is amazing and to even lock it once you put in a device is very easy. The air con does not get blocked as there is quite a lot of distance between the mounting and the actual holder. You can charge your device whilst it is on the holder and even if the pin is anywhere around the device it can accommodate it due to its flexible design. Overall great product and incredible design!

BRACKETRON PHV-200-BL Grip-iT Mobile Device Holder (Black) I purchased this mount for a magellan 1412 gps. I found two things wrong with this mount, The mount was not wide enough for this gps as well as if you mounted the mount on a air vent,the unit is too heavy for the air vent by itself to hold it up.

A clever holder for gps navigator. Especially since suction holders on windshields are apparently inviting gps theft. Handy little device inserts quite easily into vent slot with a support brace and allows driver to hear and view screen while driving w/o blocking any part of the windshield. Inexpensive and useful for a variety of devices.
