Amazon.com Review The sleek Plantronics M110 headset for mobile and cordless phones is a nice little unit that sits comfortably even during the longest hands-free conversations. It can also provide added safety to your cellular phone calls when driving because both hands can remain on the wheel.
The M110 features a sturdy headband, padded flexible earpiece and headpiece, and a fully adjustable microphone. It required no assembly and, in our experience, was extremely versatile. The microphone can be worn with the headband on either ear, and the headband was very light and comfortable to wear for long periods of time. The sound quality of the earpiece and microphone were both very clear during testing.
A noise-canceling microphone eliminates background noise on the M110, and makes your voice easily understandable to callers. There are also three levels of microphone volume, though there is no volume adjustment for the earpiece and, in our tests, we often had to ask callers to speak up.
The headset has a 4-foot cord with adjustable clothing clip to give you a wide range of motion. The M110 can be used with any cordless or cellular phone that's headset compatible and has a 2.5-millimeter jack. --Megan Dugan
Pros:
Reversible microphone and earpiece
4-foot cord and clothing clip
Cons:
Fixed volume on earpiece

The Plantronics RF Noise Shield reduces annoying RF static noise. The microphone on the headset possesses an adjust switch for optimal voice output. Meh....December 1, 2008 I got excited about this product mostly because of the style. I liked the idea of having a secure-fitting headset with a microphone in close proximity to the mouth. And it worked fairly well. It was comfortable for long periods, although the headband is very small and I had to adjust it to its largest size; even then I felt that I was bending it too much. The microphone volume adjustment works well, and is handy when making different calls; some people may think you are too loud or too soft, and it is easy to adjust. The sound quality is very good on both ends.
I ended up returning this product, and here's why:
Used with a Motorola v197 phone, it was extremely susceptible to interference. Hold your cell phone next to a pair of regular headphones or speakers while it is being used and you will know what I'm talking about. The noise was almost constant, sometimes quieter, sometimes louder, but virtually unavoidable. It was heard on both ends of the conversation and got to be too much for me.
Please note that I did not test this with a cordless land-line phone.
great!November 23, 2008 Great product, great price, fast delivery. These Plantronics M110 headsets sound great and they are very reasonably priced. I've tried many. Way better than Blue-Tooth sound.
Pass on this at any priceOctober 31, 2008 I actually got this by accident, intending to get a better quality model that cost more. Instead this came, at the higher price of the model I wanted! That aside, this model really didn't work at all for me. Intended to use it to replace an older Plantronics set that came with a portable. It was only a few minutes into a teleconference when people complained about low volume and poor sound quality. Had to switch to the speakerphone. Got a round of applause. Sure, there's always the chance that a particular handset won't work well with a particular phone, but this is actually the first time I've ever had a problem. Also, I found the design uncomfortable compared to the older set (same issue with some of the Panasonic sets). When you're tethered to one of these for 10 hours a day like I am, that's not an insignificant consideration.
Head setOctober 30, 2008 Iwas concerned how the headset would perorm even after reading the reviews. i needn't have been concerned. this headset is outstanding. Great clarity.everyone that calls me raves about the sound. i will recommend this produvt to everyone.
Happy with HeadsetOctober 28, 2008 We are very happy with the headsets we purchased. The price was excellent and sound quality and fit are very good. We use them every day for work.
