Great valueNovember 1, 2008 Very pleased with is scale. No problems with setup, easy to understand directions. Good quality, sturdy and display is easy to read. My husband is 6 feet 7 inches and it definitely lives up to it's accuracy for weighing large capacity. To measures percentage of body fat it is very sensitive. To use you must press your foot on the left side of the scale until you see your user number, but you can not touch for very long or it will pass your number and stay on the next users number. You will then have to wait for the scale to reset to try again. So, take care in pressing directly in the middle if you only want to use the weight mode. All in all, great value and would recommend.

I purchased this product after a great deal of research. Like a lot of folks out there, I wanted something that would be "consistent" every time I step on, back-to-back. And it is. Right out of the box it worked with no difficultly or lenghtly setup. I've gotten on and off a few times in the space of a minute and the readings were always the same.
The Escali is a high capacity scale, when others top out at 330lbs or 350lbs - a plus in my case. But better than that, this product was relatively cheap compared to other scales from Weight Watchers/Conair, Tanita, Health O Meter, and LifeSource. Many of those brands with high capacity were up in the $100+ range.
If anyone wants an economically priced, high capacity scale that does exactly what it advertises, then this is the scale for you.
It is highly recommended.
Good scale!August 1, 2008 Overall, this is a really good scale. It's pretty accurate concerning weight measuring, and it has a nice, modern look to it. The body fat and water analysis seems to be a bit off, but I dont really use those features much, so it's fine with me. The only other complaint I would have is that it is extremely sensitive scale, so you must be very still in order to stop the numbers from fluctuating back and forth between two numbers and actually get your weight. Other than that, it's great! :)
Consistent stats and easy to useJuly 28, 2008 We replaced a Tanita body fat scale with this scale because we felt like the Tanita's body fat measurement was inaccurate. Plus, you couldn't, eat, sleep or exercise within 3 hours of weighing yourself. The escali eliminates all of those requirements and provides a consistent body fat reading. My wife programmed the scale for each of us and it's easy to use.
To get into your program you place one foot in the center of the scale and remove it when it gets to your program #. So - when it shows #1 on the screen, I remove my foot and wait until it shows my gender and age - then step on the scale. About 30 seconds lated it provides my weight, body fat % and water %. The only hassle is if I accidentally leave my foot on too long and get my wife's program. It takes about 90 seconds to clear out.
The design is crisp and clean and it looks nice on the floor. I have and will continue to reccomend this produc to frineds and family
Not very sturdyJuly 24, 2008 The scale works fine, however it is a little tipsy. It seems to tilt if your feet are not properly balanced. Also the battery on my scale ran out a few days after I received it. Replacement Battery was available at walmart for 4.99.
