Franklin Speaking Language MasterNovember 30, 2008 This product is an excellent tool for those who have spelling difficulties and spell phonetically. The speaking component aids in finding the word that you need to spell or find in the dictionary. The voice component is very robotic. It is best used with headphones for clarity.
Very 'basic' translatorOctober 31, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Unfortunately I don't like because it don't expand, then I cannot use other cards with other language like spanish, portuguese, etc.
By any more money you can buy other new models that accept the expansion cards.
not a translatorOctober 23, 2007 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
This was purchased to translate to Italian and French. However it is a dictionary for English, probably would help someone who is not from this country. It speaks clearly in English. Big help, I can do that without it!!!
Ideal for the Spelling ChallengedOctober 21, 2007 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
If you are frustrated with dictionaries because you have to know how to spell the word to find it, this is the gadget for you. My high schooler hears words a little differently, so often has trouble with spelling. The Franklin speller knows about Central Auditory Processing issues, and knows what she means when she types in something that doesn't begin to resemble conventional spelling.
