I have a 8 inch SC scope. The Celestron Car Battery Adapter allows me to view for many hours without worry about running out of my base batteries. Now I can take very long photos of the heavens.. This is one great extension for night viewing.

This adapter along with the AC adapter gives Me the availability of House curent, and the use of a DC Power Supply for long night viewing.
