Better Than ExpectedSeptember 15, 2008 I originaly order this extender because I lost the original extender for my current head phones while traveling. I did not relize it would be so long, but I like it alot. I am often in an area where I need to wear my head phones and still need to move around. The quality of the sound is still very good and it is very sturdy. I would recommend it to others. I still need to order a shorter extender for working out.

Doesn't workJanuary 23, 2008 I received this product from the post today and already I want to rip it from my computer and throw it out the 31st story window of my office. This cable only works when the headphone cable, which is plugged into it, is tilted at exactly the correct angle and is being held with the proper amount of pressure which is unknown to me and, I believe, the human race in general. If I move, no music. If I sit completely still but continue to take shallow breaths, the music cuts in and out. I have tried to see if tape of any sort will assist me with the performance of the aforementioned product, but efforts proved to be fruitless. I would like to take this moment to advise you to drag your mouse up the back button where I would further advise you click and then scroll down the page until you find a cable extension of another variety.

I bought this cable for the same reason as another reviewer on here; I needed a headphone extension to reach my computer tower under my desk at work. I'd say this product worked for about a month before the left speaker wire detached itself inside the plug boot. I could get sound out of it if I jiggled the wire in the hopes of making a connection, but that would always be temporary. I definitely suggest spending a few extra dollars and getting a quality extension cord.
