I have a Rane TTM56 mixer and I can crank the headphone volume to ear bleeding levels with no distortion. I don't recommend doing that though. I just wanted to test them out.
Great highs, mids, & bass for me.
Everyones ears are different though.
Any Headphones are better than theseNovember 14, 2008 These are simply the worst sounding things that I've ever put over my ears. You've heard of muddy bass... How about muddy everything. I was going to serious think about donating these to the school for the deaf so that people could experience what hearing loss sounds like.
Buy a pair of cheap headphones for MP3's, portable CD players, or iPods and get an adapter if you want to use it on home equipment and it would sound light years better than these headphones!
EDIT: Of course if you are looking at these you are probably looking for some DJ Headphones. Let me recommend the Marathon 1100's. See my review on Amazon.

I was looking for a good pair of headphones that has noise cancelling function. And even i'm not a DJ, I just use them for listening to my music :) If you like strong base.. haha there's no better headphones than these ones :) Pretty much, Every headphones that had noise cancelling function was over a hundred bucks, and then i found this pair (yay)
Noise cancelling: 9/10 The quality of music 9/10 Design 8/10
Even it is a big pair of headphones, it doesn't weigh that much :) So it's no problem to have headphones around your neck ALL DAY
It is the best headphones that I had :)

this headphone is amazing it keeps out all ouutside noises. great for the price. I paid $50.00 best money I ever spent on headphones!
