Sennheiser HD-205 ReviewAugust 11, 2008 These Sennheiser headphones feel extremely snug and secure. They come tight as ever and I wouldn't worry about them ever falling off of your head. The ear cup swivel feature is attractive, however i've only had these headphones and listened to them "swiveled" once or twice and it already feels somewhat loose. The headphones are also connected to the head strap by a thin plastic ball-joint which I can tell will already get loose very fast. As far as performance, after about 10-20 mins of listening, my ears are sore because they're so tight! They also don't fit around your ear but rather snug on top of it.
THE WORST part about these headphones was ordering from Amazon! The "SUPER SAVING" shipping method had an estimated delivery date of 2+ weeks after I placed the order.. however after the date had long past I knew something was wrong. I contacted Amazon and they had lost my package. Although they sent me a knew one free of charge and upgraded my shipping to regular fedex, it still took around a month for some headphones.
Bass OverloadMay 14, 2008 These headphones emphasize the "DJ" part of the model name -- put these on and you'll feel like you're in a dance club. Too much emphasis on bass for me, but if that's you're thing then these are the cans for you. I use it with an i-Pod and found the sound quality vastly improves if I select "bass reducer" on the i-Pod's equalizer menu when using these headphones. Overall: good construction and comfortable, but not as balanced a sound as I'd like.
Very good for a little moneyApril 18, 2008 A litle bulky and tight at the beginning. Great sound but definitely not very portable.
Love it.April 13, 2008 These were for my husband (a bass player).. lots of bass, and clarity on "highs"..loves 'em, and definitely worth twice the price.
Great soundApril 5, 2008 Great sounding headphones for the price. The bass was a *little* distorted, but besides that, they sound great. Two or three people at my school have actually bought them themselves after borrowing mine.
