Great Product....Awesome Sound QualityNovember 21, 2008 The Sennheiser CX300 Earbuds are a great deal for the money. The sound quality is great, and they look very nice also. When you figure out which size buds to use, the bass is great, so s the treble and mid-range. Overall Great Product!!!!
Excellent stock upgrade but not Hi-fiNovember 21, 2008 Pros- Low impedance (loud) Full bass response (oh yeah!) Affordable Made by Sennheiser Sound isolation (you can hear every single detail like background noises)
Cons- Not the best sound quality (not expected at this price point anyway)- bright highs and boomy bass. I personally don't mind the rubber cables and uneven cords but I can see how some can.
All in all, I would recommend this set for exercising or as a affordable upgrade for stock earbuds. Just don't expect it to sound like a reference sound system.

I bought my first set of these headphones about a year ago. I was able to look past the annoyingly long right ear wire because they do have excellent sound quality. I used them mainly at the gym and noticed that after being on the treadmill for a few minutes that the combination of sweat and the weight of the cord would pull the left earpiece out. I tried all 3 rubber sizes but was constantly pushing that left piece back in. Also, when lifting weights I run the cord under my shirt and found that the thick rubber piece where the right and left earphones split would catch my shirt and again pull the left earpiece out, even more often than while running. This was annoying, but I would still have rated these 4 stars because walking my dog or listening in bed these were the best phones I ever heard. I bought 2 other pairs as Christmas presents last year, and now all 3 pairs have failed in one ear. I tried re-soldering the wires and got 2 of them to work again, who knows for how long. I have switched to a pair of Ultimate Ears and the quality is even better, hopefully these will last longer.
I enjoy these headphones, but....November 19, 2008 I definitely like the sound quality of these headphones. Bass sounds great, highs and mids sound accurate. My only caveat to these headphones is that I wish the cord was longer and the headphones were symmetrical. Having one side of the headphone shorter than the other really puts a cramp in my style. The overall length of the headphone cord needs to be just a little longer it's too short for my taste.

great product good sound for the price, really don't like the lopsided wire factor...one side very short...and you cannot adjust it....
