Dream come true!October 10, 2008 I use this for my iPod in my 1998 4-Runner and I just love it! It was so easy to use--just put the tape in and connected the headphone jack to your device. The sound is excellent.
IMPORTANT TIP: Make sure the volume on your device is high, but not at MAX. If the volume on your device is too loud, this can ruin the sound with static and scratching. Don't think you have to "inject all of the device power through the cassette player". Using a normal volume on the device will allow you to have better control of the overall volume using the car's dial.
Excellent especially for BB curveOctober 10, 2008 I played it in my 99 ford expedition thank God the tape deck still works it didnt work on one side so I pressed my auto reverse button. The sounds were so great I didnt want to get out my car. It sound better than my CDs no lie. If you want to get the most out of that expensive BB curve I have the 8820 buy this product you will be satisfied.
Excellent ProductSeptember 30, 2008 This works excellent for my ipod in my old car.Great sound quality with little inconvinience. If you want to play your ipod on the older car models,possible 2007 or older,this is the product you want to buy,and it is not expensive either!.
Works well in my carAugust 28, 2008 I use this during long trips in my car to plug my laptop in to the car's tape player, and listen to iTunes music over the car's speakers. It sounds better than live radio or cassette tapes.
I haven't had any problems with it, as long as you don't insert it into the tape player upside-down (it seems to work only in one direction, so you might need to hit the Side-A/Side-B button on the car's tape player to see which direction is correct). Sometimes you need to jiggle it to get it aligned properly when you first insert it into the cassette player, but after that, it works well, with very clean sound.
Sony Cassette Adapter is greatAugust 15, 2008 It works great. Easy as pie. Much better than my FM transmitter, which runs down batteries way too fast, and is never clear, always staticky. This is clear as can be, and all you have to do is put the tape in the tape player and plug it up to your mp3 player, etc. I'm very happy with this inexpensive and easy product. :)
