Superior heat distribution and the nonstick surface is great. Of course, it is only for the stovetop since the handle is not oven-proof, but I understood that when I bought it. Excellent value on Amazon.

I have the set that looks like this, and I was a little suprised at how low it was, but it still holds 2 quarts. Just not a good pot for boiling things in.

Hey it was cheap and I needed another pan. This works well for everyday kind of use and has good intial nonstick. def handwash them.

Calphalon Simply Traditional Hard Anodized Nonstick 2 Quart Saute
It's a saute pan. It matches my skillets. I have only heated canned food in it so far. It works for me.
