The TI-83 includes function, parametric and polar, and sequence plot modes. You can store, graph, and analyze up to 10 functions, 6 parametric and polar functions, and 3 sequence functions. The TI-83's Draw operations allow you to annotate graphs. Along with the advanced math and science features, the TI-83 also includes such financial functions as cash flow, amortization, and time value of money.
The included input-output cable lets you link the TI-83 with another TI-83 or a TI-82 for data sharing, and the optional TI-Graph Link software lets you transfer files to a PC.

I went out a bought a new one while waiting on this seller to get in touch with me regarding a refund, which he never did. Amazon.com finally refunded my money themselves. This item, once I purchased it new, was very useful.

Item did not workOctober 12, 2008 I received the above item with a battery that was corroded. I installed a new, uncorroded battery into the graphing calculator but the calculator did not work. I contacted the company and they reported that in 2 years they have never had a complaint. They did instruct me to mail it back with a copy of the e-mail regarding the problem with the calculator. We shall see how the replacement works.
A little disapointedOctober 8, 2008 i expected it to have all the parts, it did not have the USB cord that comes in the package. But it works good~
