I have these brackets also and they do not stick up above the speaker as one reviewer has stated. If you read and follow the directions included with them then they will not stick up above your speakers. I installed them myself and they are somewhere around the middle of the speaker in the back. There is no way in the world that you can say that they stick up above the speaker unless you did not follow the included directions.

I have a pair of Bose 201's that I have mounted on my living room wall with these wall mounts. They are very stong and easy to install however, they stick up about a quarter inch above the speakers at the top. If not for this I would give them a 5 star rating. They also come with all the hardware to mount on any kind of wall surface.

Returned the units for refund as speakers could not be mounted in space originally planned. Return policy and refund was immediate and without any complications. Speaker stands were ordered as replacements, and worked very well.
