Product Description The new SF660 delivers enhanced screen compatibility, accommodating large flat panel screens, including those with VESA 800 x 400 mm hole pattern. Its open wall plate architecture allows for enhanced electrical access and cable management, as well as screen placement flexibility to achieve the perfect installation. This ultra-slim mount is the ultimate in low-profile applications for 37" to 60" flat panel screens.
Simple and SturdyNovember 17, 2008 Easy to install. Easy to read directions. Even though my TV is flush mounted, I used the arms that put it an extra inch away from the wall so I could access the connections on the rear of the television. Everything came as expected. Thank you!
Peerless SF660 Flat Wall MountNovember 3, 2008 This is an excellent product. It is very well built. It fit my 50" Panasonic Plasma perfectly and was very easy to mount. The price is a fraction of the price of the Panasonic unit recommended in my owners manual. There are adapters for many models. It took me about and hour to level and mount the hanger and the TV. I highly recommend it.
Prompt shipping, easy installationOctober 24, 2008 Received in about four days. Received the correct product (which is a plus). Very easy to install and everything needed (nuts bolts screws) were provided. If this ol' inept home handyman can do it, anyone can!
Used with Samsung LN52A650October 15, 2008 I used this with a Samsung LN52A650 52" LCD HDTV. Mounted very well and is very, very sturdy. Everything was easy, and overall the mounting process took no more than 30 minutes. Using the larger brackets the mount offered just enough clearance for the cables coming out of my TV (HDMI and component). Total clearance for cables (taking into account the input panel on the TV is set in a bit) is about 2.5 inches.
I gave the product only 4 stars because I wish it had just one more set of holes for mounting the plate to the wall. I couldn't put the TV exactly where I wanted because I didn't want to have most of the weight on the entire right side of plate. I compromised and only have the TV about 2" offset to the right. Most of this problem is due to the lousy positioning of the wall studs in my apartment though and not really with the mount itself.
Great low-cost mount for my 50 in. PanasonicOctober 12, 2008 My Panasonic TH-50PZ800U weights about 90 pounds and is mounted on an interior sheetrock/2x4 stud wall. The Peerless SF660 was easy to attach to the wall with the included hardware, but you will need a level in addition to the tools listed on the instruction sheet. The wall bracket of the current product is wide open in the middle (unlike the illustration), making it easy to route all the cables through the wall. There are two sets of vertical mounting bars. I needed to use the wider set to clear the bend radius on my fat and stiff HDMI cables. If the HDMI connectors on the TV were a few inches higher, I could have used a hole in the wall to clear the cable bends and used the narrower bars to get the TV closer to the wall.
If you don't need to angle your screen up or down, this mount will do the job. It is an excellent value at the current price.
