nice mountSeptember 10, 2008 I paid 80 bucks at best buy for this mount. It is easy to use and very flush to the wall. If your tv has the plugs straight in from the back you will have to get cables with elbows or do what I did, knock a hole in the sheet rock with a screwdriver and hammer and run the cable through the wall directly behind where they plug into your tv. Then you run the cables down to the bottom of the wall where you made another hole which you cover with a wall plate that has a large enough hole to run the cables out and to your components(cable box, sat. box, dvd player etc.) Only real problem I had with this mount was trying to push the lever that locks the tv to the mount. My fingers were to big to reach under my tv so I had to use a ruler to reach behind and push it into the locked position. This mount does not allow you to tilt the tv in any direction but that was fine for my location. Tom
excellent mountMarch 6, 2008 I bought this mount for a wall installation of a 40" Samsung LCD we put in our game room. The mount comes with a variety of screws & washers to accomodate different TV's, so don't be put off by the number of items in the box. The mount is simple to install--it's a single-stud installation, so just locate a stud with an electronic stud-finder, drill some holes, and you're all but done. Our TV had inputs (HDMI, etc.) on the side of the TV (but still in back so you don't see any wires) which allowed me to avoid having to use any spacers, but they're there if you need them. Overall, great product.
Almost PerfectJanuary 9, 2008 This Sanus Wall Mount is almost perfect. Its sturdy, easy to install and ajustable. The only flaw is that the low profile design brings the TV to close to the wall. I could not attach the video and electrical cables to the back of the flat screen. Sanus includes spacers with the mount to use if your flat screen has a rounded back. I used them just to bring my 32" Samsung away from the wall enough to attach the cables. The spacers still were not enough to attach the cables without a servere bend at the connection. I had to remove the Coax cover plate and use the cable straight out of the wall (junction box). I also purchased a small extention cord with a 90 degree plug to solve the electrical cord problem. After all of that my LCD TV looks great and I am very happy with the results.
You can't go wrong with this one!December 4, 2007 Very easy to install. I was using it for a 32" LCD. Solid end result and the instructions were very simple to follow. All hardware including lag bolts for stud wall mounting were included and easily identified.
