Product Description The Universal Projector Mount (model PBL-UMS) fits most projectors under 25 lbs and features four double-jointed support arms that allow flexible positioning to reach almost any mounting point. Each arm can be precisely positioned to avoid covering important projector ventilation and access points used for lamp and air filter replacement. This minimizes heat build-up and maximizes lamp life. Unique leveling barrels allow the PBL-UMS to adapt to any projector base, no matter how oddly shaped, to maintain a level installation. Its robust construction allows the mount to positively hold the projector fixed at nearly any angle.
Customer Reviews:
Great ProductSeptember 2, 2008 Great Mount - Easy to install - and a great price.
I have two of these and have had no trouble with either one.
decent, and good for its priceFebruary 29, 2008 made strong and finish is good. instructions could be better as it took a while to properly configure legs to balance projector well. once installed, a nice looking unit that will work for most people. note to buyers do what you can to center the circle, and if a leg ends up underneath circle make sure it has clearance before trying to hang unit!!!
This is a great mount!July 6, 2006 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I wasn't quite sure what to expect from this mount with its spindly-looking arms. But I bought it and am impressed!
It is very heavy-duty, and my new Panasonic PT-AE900U projector is now in good hands. Every joint on the mount can be tightened with the allen wrench that comes included. It also ships with four-each of four or five different sized screws to mount the arms to the projector.
It all came together faster than I had anticipated. I was relieved to find that the bottom part twists off easily from the top part of the mount. This means that I only had to hold up the top part while screwing to the ceiling joist, and I could carefully screw the bottom part into the projector on a table. Then I simply had to lift up the inverted projector and twist it into the top part up near the ceiling.
The fact that it can drop the camera down 12 inches was important to me, since I have a beam between the projector and the screen in my new basement home theater.
It allows for minor adjustments in any dimension. I am very happy with this mount!
