Great for small kidsJuly 4, 2008 I bought 2 of these from Walmart about 2 years ago for my then 4 yr old & 2 yr old. They loved wiggles at the time & loaded their kid music on them. They are still working and now we have grown to big kid music like Hannah Montanna. I bought these because of the price & the color options (one got pink & one got blue). I never expected them to be so great for the kids & last so long. They use them in the car & on planes & just anywhere they are bored. It holds about 220 songs.

First off, I bought this when it was first released to Wal-Mart so I've had it for quite a while. I use it quite alot too.
The reason I gave it just three stars is because I don't think you could drop an iPod too many times and still be able to opperate; but that is about the only good point this has assides from how easily it can be used. What I see wrong is that the expansion isn't what I call a true expansion. Instead, you have to go through the menu and select memory card in order to listen to what's on the card and you wont have the option of listening to the whole 1+ GB total, just one or the other.
In conclusion: it is a good, sturdy, cheap 1GB mp3 player that you could hand to a teen or someone who is clumsy like my GF. (Who has dropped it on a treadmill and have it shot backwards into a wall)
