Product Description
The TRITTON SEE2 USB 2.0 SVGA Adapter instantly allows you to add a second display through your USB 2.0 port. Simply install the included drivers, plug the SEE2 into the USB port and your ready to go. Extend your desktop across both displays allowing you to increase your productivity like never before. While reading email on one display, open attachments on the other display. Expand spreadsheets across both monitors, in graphics programs increase your working area by putting all your pallets on the second display. While giving a presentation on one display see your notes on the other display or do multi-screen presentations! The possibilities are endless with the TRITTON SEE2 display adapter.SEE2 is powered through the USB cable so no additional power supply is needed. By using USB there is no need to open the computer. Adding a second internal video card to a desktop can be complicated and impossible in some cases. With the SEE2 display adapter, just plug it in.

1 out of 5 stars Blurred display, Low cost, Low performance   August 14, 2008
I returned this product after 5 days because of unacceptable blurriness of the display. Installation was quick. Had to download/install latest driver from their website. The device recognized the LCD monitor and everything worked fine except the quality of display. The display was very blurred. Word, Explorer and anything with text was too blurred to be able to use this display.

1 out of 5 stars Bad performance   July 17, 2008
I have tried to use these adapters for the last six months at work and at home. My company ordered several of them recently but we had to give up on them. I tried them with my home laptop and the same results.

The laptops crashed very often (BSD) for no reason, and also when trying to open .mov files. The resolution is not good, and the refresh rate is very slow. I work for the IT department, and I tried to troubleshoot it by contacting the Tritton tech service. I installed the newest drivers/firmware. No luck. I had to return the device.

Note: Our company tried a couple other adapters but they had the same performance. We had to buy DVI connectors and use docking stations.

If you are looking for an adapter with great definition, and great performance try something else.

3 out of 5 stars 6 to 1 half a dozen of the other   May 20, 2008
this product is OK.

I bought if to use with an older laptop that is my workhorse but after using it for about 3 months I switched to the matrox dual head 2 go device.

I do not game (use my xbox 360 for that) so reviews on use for office apps are right on the money. Older laptops will have throughput issues as the USB port will delay any screen activity and give you jitters!

May work better on newer, faster hardware!

4 out of 5 stars It Serves its Purpose   April 12, 2008
Dont' buy this if you want to do video intense activities; but if you want to expand your office desktop and do things like word processing, email, etc. then this product is great. I use two 22" widescreen monitors for my home desktop and wanted to do the same with my laptop. Only 1 problem - laptop only has 1 vga output.

Be careful with your cabling - the adapter on the non-usb end of this is a female adapter- you will need a male-male to conect to you monitor (or a DVI/VGA adapater, etc.)

3 out of 5 stars Add a monitor   January 14, 2008
Seems when hooked up and using that monitor, mouse seems sluggish and hard to move in certain programs that appear on the second monitor hooked to this port.
