Although I was not satisfied with the product the company was really good on returning my money back with no hitten fees. Its range is not as good at it says to be. It gives lots of false warnings and not enough warning mile range.
Beltronics RX65February 17, 2008 Performs as advertised. Easy setup and mounting. Because of the fact that most people own two cars, the inclusion of two mounting brackets would have saved time and a small amount of money.
Best ever!!!January 31, 2008 I've had lots of radar detectors over the years - all of the "major" brands (including the "so-called" best & most expensive). This RX 65 is by far the best I've ever had - minimum false alerts, maximum distance & protection. Will be buying a second for other vehicles.
Great radar detector and sellerJanuary 1, 2008 I did my homework on this radar detector and it has performed to my expectations. Great features and filters out most of the false alarms too. Came with a nice padded case too. Equally impressed with the seller - Photoland NY. I received a nice letter from them with the purchase too stating 100% satisfaction guarantee. First day out. Brand new car, brand new Beltronics RX65. Got popped by radar on the Taconic state parkway. I came over a ridge, heading north and the trooper was sitting in the valley between the north and south bound lanes facing me. As soon as I got a visual on him I knew he got me. Not even a tiny peep out of the RX65. He threw it into drive and hightailed it after me. The detector never made a sound. I could not believe my eyes or ears and it cost me $145 to Fishkill township. Really disappointed. Bottom line is don't trust these things to save you.
