Good Value but not magic solutionMay 2, 2008 Very attractive price. A little light weight for the larger sized sets. Adjusting the tilt while the set is mounted on the wall is difficult.
Works wellApril 28, 2008 The instructions for this are VERY easy to follow for VARIOUS locations of your studs in your wall. It even has provisions to be a few inches off center. Very specific. Obviously you need a stud finder, a big nail, and a hammer to find your studs. I usually use the stud finder, locate the center, THEN I use a big nail with a hammer to drive it into the stud for verification because those stud finders are not always 100% accurate. If it's solid I yank it back out, and then mount the wall mount for my 50" Samsung plasma.
It's VERY sturdy in design, nothing feels cheap, and I can honestly say I'm EXTREMELY pleased with the price and quality I got from Amazon.
RED HEAD ANCHORS PLEASE!April 27, 2008 My wall consist of 5/8" drywall, 2x2" studs, and cinder block. I had to drill (2) extra mounting holes in the Peerless ST650P and add an extra 2x2 stud. 1/2" holes had to be drilled dead center on the 2x2" studs in order to assure a snug fit for the RED Head anchors. A decent product overall.
screws and more screwsApril 15, 2008 one things for sure, they give you enough screws to fit any tv. I like the ease at which this is installed, and holes big enough that I used lag bolts to fasten the bracket to the wall instead of ,,,you guessed it,, the screws they sent to attach it to the wall.
Nice mountApril 11, 2008 Brought this to hang my 42" toshiba regza. It's very easy to install. I love the fact that it keeps the tv very close to the wall. I've had other mounts that stick out too far from the wall. I would easily recommend this product to anyone hanging my model tv.
