HDMI handshake issueJuly 3, 2008 I think I'm the unlucky one.
When I connect this cable between DMA2100 and 1080p LCDTV, I get, what I believe, the HDMI handshake issue. The screen flashes several times.
After replacing it with a $40 one, this issue went away. If I reconnect the problematic cable, the same problem is reproduced.
Don't pay more. Expensive cables are no better.June 29, 2008 If you've spent more than a few bucks for an HDMI cable, you are a fool (no offense). These cables send digital information, so as long as they stay intact, they will all do the same job. And if they did fall apart, I wouldn't be any worse off for having spent $2. I've purchased 2 of these so far. One for my Sharp Aquos TV, and one for my PS3. Both were under $5 and both work great. I have friends who have paid over $100 for a cable. Duped...
Save some moneyJune 8, 2008 Save some money a digital cable is a digital cable! Quality will not degrade either the signal is there or it is not. And honestly if there is one bit of difference in picture quality between a cheap cable and a Monster cable you will never notice it.
AmazingMay 30, 2008 Love this cable. Amazing picture quality. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Don't pay $85 more than you need to. Buy this cable!

What do I say? I plugged it in and it worked. I don't see why you would want to spend more. They shipped the product really fast.
