Product Description This CD-BTB200 is designed to work only with Pioneer "Bluetooth Adapter Ready" Navigation systems, AV Receivers and CD Players. Bluetooth Wireless Technology allows these Pioneer headunits to communicate automatically with and treat most compatible cellular phones as source devices within a given range. Simply set up a user ID, and you can make and take calls, use call waiting, talk, and hang up- all while your phone remains in your bag, purse or pocket. Bluetooth wireless technology also allows you to place and receive calls through the head-unit using voice-recognition dialing. The included microphone eliminates the need for an additional hands-free kit installation. The result is the optimum in both convenience and driving safety.
Pioneer Bluetooth WirelessAugust 18, 2008 Great device, works very well, no issues, easy to install and to use. Works exactly as expected
QuietApril 21, 2008 Quality is good, but the volume of your voice will be kind of quiet to whoever you are calling.
CD-BTB200 The best Bluetooth Car Adapter by far!!April 4, 2008 I have the CD-BTB200 linked to my AVH-P7800DVD in a Expedition with a sound system. All passengers in the car can be heard clearly (so watch you say). Most people who complain about this product doesn't know how to pair it their phone properly. I have a HTC 8525 and a Treo 650 with JetWare mobile software and all functions are available(Direct dial, voice dial, all phone book options). In regards to the phone book, you must send or beam your phone book entries to your unit.
This is a must have, especially if you spend a lot of time in your vehicle
It Works!April 2, 2008 Had the unit installled with the Pioneer Avic D3 and it worked like a charm. Caller ID, call waiting and all other features work as promised.
Pioneer Bluetooth Wireless AdapterApril 1, 2008 Generally speaking this product does what it's supposed to do: provide you with handsfree capability through your compatible Pioneer head unit. It provides clear and crisp sound, and works with most bluetooth enabled cell phones. There is however, one small, minor problem (depending upon your level of tolerance and expectation): some phones are not compatible with the phone book transfer feature of the unit. After numerous hours of searching the web, it still isn't clear why any of my bluetooth enabled phones aren't compatible with this feature. So a word of caution, if you're looking to take advantage of all the features this product offers, make sure you do a thorough search on the web to see if your phone is compatible, otherwise you may find yourself utterly disappointed. Other than that, this is a great accessory to my Pioneer AVIC-D3.
