CRAP!!! CRAP!!! CRAP!!!July 12, 2008 I bought these cables and they look great and appear to be of fine quality.....DONT BE FOOLED! They are ok I suppose IF YOU NEVER PLAN TO UNPLUG THEM! When trying to unplug the cable from my HDTV the supposed gold prong stays suck in the tv whilst the cable comes out with these frayed gold conecters that are impossible to salvage. The conecter is held together by a tiny dot of metal sauter and pops apart like a rubberband. I bought them through Amazon from ANT OLINE...BEWARE of this company I have been trying to get a hold of them for a week and they refuse to answer my emails...Amazon wont replace them because they were from one of thier vendors not them. I have to go through some A-Z guarantee which I have yet to have time to hassle with. I wont order from third parties on AMAZON...always a NIGHTMARE....stick with AMAZON products only and perhaps you will safe. DONT BUY THESE CABLES.
Goood price, good cableJuly 9, 2008 This cable is almost 10 feet long, and can go up to 10.2gbps, fast enough for all the bells and whistles that HDMI can support. $20 is reasonable, and the cable doesn't look or feel cheap either.
awesomeJuly 2, 2008 Works perfectly. Stays in place. Had originally bought a monster brand but read the reviews and liked it so returned that one and bought this one. Couldn't be happier. Saved me like $60 and is 3 times longer then the monster one.
Great cable at a great price!July 1, 2008 This is a great cable at a great price. Why spend the extra $$$ on Monstrous (like the company) cables when you can get a great cable like this from Amazon for a much cheaper price. I used it to get 1080p output on my projector using a 1080p receiver and 1080p DVD player.
Buy these instead of the more expensive optionsJune 28, 2008 I have bought two of these on two separately occasions and both arrived quickly and worked perfectly. There is no reason to spend the extra money on a high-priced HDMI cables (just make sure you get one that is rated as 1.3). Monster Cable is an evil company who sues everybody they can, massively overprices their products, and makes up terms to apply to non-existent technology they claim to incorporate. Cables Unlimited gets my vote for sure!!
