Wish there was a negative star option for this product!July 15, 2008 TV does not work! Television loses signal every few minutes. Tried multiple cable outlets (moved it from room to room), multiple cables, with and without cable box. It just flat does not work. Don't waste your money!
Philips no longer supports this modelMay 19, 2008 In theory, this is a great product, but the digital tuner never worked for us. Phone support is non-existent for this model. They don't know anything about it. Philips told me to return it to a local service center. The first address they gave me (when I got there) told me they don't service Philips Electronics anymore. The second service center I went to did service Philips Electronics, but had no idea what this model was, and certainly didn't service it. Philips then told me to ship it to them directly (at my expense.) I just got a call from them telling me they can't fix it, they don't have any in stock, they have discontinued this model, and they can only refund my money. But they won't refund the sales tax I spent, or the shipping cost (initially to me, and then to the repair center.) They said they have no other models similar to replace it with either. Clearly, Philips has abandoned this product. You should too. Across the board, service has been horrible.
All in one kitchen media centerApril 29, 2008 Wanted TV, radio for the new kitchen that could hide in a cabinet and got the added bonus of CD, DVD and iPod players! Use this every day. Not the DVD/CD player so much. Great!

I like this Phillips TV and DVD player. It works well and is perfect for my needs. The Value is great for the price that I paid ($329 on sale on Amazon).
I have a 5th Generation 30G iPod Video and the Video option does work with this TV. You just need to read the TV manual for the iPod Correct settings.
One con about the iPod feature is that the controls are very basic, most of the functions need to be accessed through the iPod itself (you can not use the remote that it comes with for most of the functions. The radio tuning is a bit slow also.
I would suggest this item to a friend.
Not satisfied but the reciever of the gift wasApril 5, 2008 The color varies greatly by channel. Sometimes looks pale and off tint. The user manual for TV setup functions are terrible. The radio is a pain to set. Can't go direct to a channel to set. Only mfg who had a decent reliability rating. But she liked it for the kitchen as a gift, so she kept it, but I'm not happy with it.
