The Best Booklight EverJuly 4, 2008 I have bought several book lights over the years and find the Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 to be the best yet. It is much more flexible than any of the others and can be easily positioned so there is no glare or reflexion of the light on the Kindle. It easily clamps to the back cover of the Kindle or of a book. The two levels of lighting are helpful in different lighting situations. It would be nice to have a protective pouch to carry it in when traveling.
Mighty BrightJuly 3, 2008 You wouldn't think something so small could be so powerful...but this is. It's a great accessory...so good in fact, I purchased another and gave it as a gift to the person who turned me onto the Kindle!
Not For The KindleJuly 2, 2008 This product maybe a good product for "general" use but it's too bulky and hard to deal with if you want to use it with the Kindle. I bought it because it was advertised with the Kindle.
It was disproportioned to the size of the Kindle. It is larger than one might think looking at the picture.
It would be great to use with larger hardback books...or clipped to a bookcase to light the titles of the books...but not for the Kindle.
Bottom HeavyJune 30, 2008 VERY BRIGHT light, dual brightness is a plus. But the battery compartment (3 AAA) is the clip too, and it is heavy on a paperback. Would be fine for a hard-cover. On a paperback you have to "clip" about 30 pages to keep it steady. Gooseneck is very lightweight, yet secure.
Lights up My WorldJune 27, 2008 This is one of the handiest things Ive purchased in a long time! It was so convenient, I purchased a second one. I clip one on my nightstand lamp so I can still see when my spouse is sleeping. Its perfect lighting for night, whether reading or dressing. I keep the other beside my chair for reading. I may end up buying a third. I love these!
