Tv Tuner for LCD MonitorMay 18, 2008 I like this product. This Tv Tuner has a lot of possibilities to connect at another equipment like console games or DVD players.
And has a good menu control to use.

The KWorld standalone HDTV Tuner is a nice product. The features are all there although I would have liked to have seen a Video Source button on the main unit instead of just on the remote.
The device is small and may be setup vertically or horizontally. The connections are self explanatory and easy enough to access. Since the unit is small and light the weight of the cables may encumber the unit. Cable management should be used with this device to ensure cables are not stressing the jacks on the back.
The video quality is good. I have suspisions on my incoming signal so I can't comment on it extensively.
I have hooked up my PS3 to it and it works well. It is a pleasure to watch DVD's or video on it.
I have tried the P-In-P function on my computer and it works pretty good since you have 3 sizes(Small, Large, Full Screen) but I prefer the full screen effect.
The unit performs well. You have the ability tweak channel signals as well as color hue like all standard receivers.
Overall, if you want to recycle an older monitor or use the one on your desktop to watch HDTV this will do the job well. I would have preferred a DVI connection for true digital video but for the price this is a good deal. *** Remember this is using 15pin VGA ANALOG ***
not badJanuary 26, 2008 very handy to make use of an old monitor as a new TV. Very easy to set up. The built-in sound is quite poor, so you may want to have a separate set of speakers. It is somewhat less useful for picture-in-picture viewing on a high resolution PC monitor while using your computer: you cannot get both the monitor and TV at the highest resolution at the same time. To KWorld's credit, the company is honest about it. I still have to figure out how to use it with a universal remote.
