This product definitely works as advertised. It's great that it's wireless. I purchased it for my aunt, who ended up preferring a simple pair of Sony Sports over-the-head light earphones attached by wire to the TV. The TV Ears sound quality is not as good as wired earphones, and also it's much heavier. I think they should have it be over the top of the head rather than hang down from the ears, putting pressure on the earss. Anyway, this is one of several options and I definitely recommend trying it out. Try to purchase it in a manner where you can return it if you don't prefer it over other options.
TV Ears work!June 9, 2008 I am using TV Ears Professional with the line out on the TV. It works great in a large "great room" no matter where I go or which direction I turn. The sound is very clear. It's a little confusing to connect at first because the directions are for a simpler model with an extra sheet of instructions for the professional model. After you understand it, there's nothing to it. The price through Amazon is somewhat better than anywhere else.
TV EARSJune 5, 2008 Product failed to deliver as promised firstly the power stacker unit would not function, and then the headset had a short. These two issues came with the initial set-up and lets me know I will not (1) buy from this company in the future and/or (2) expect to hear something about correction in quality control. I have invested $7.45, considerable time, and transportation to the PO plus have nothing to show for the efforts.
TV Ears ProfessionalMay 27, 2008 This product works great! You have control of your own volume. So the volume on the TV does not have to be turned up in the room very loud.

The headset charging system is flawed. Be aware that you are going to position and reposition the headsets on a regular basis to get both head sets to charge.
