Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This heavy duty steel mount fits most 32" to 60" Plasma TV or LCD monitor. This Universal Flat Panel Mount offers quality, versatility and security for 32" to 60" Flat panel televisions. It features a high capacity and low profile design, lift-n-lock installation and adjustable tilt for optimal viewing. When you're looking for a mounting solution for your flat panel television, don't settle for anything but this world's premier mounting products. And now available at the lowest price in the industry. Will This mount Fit my Plasma TV? First check the weight of your TV. It must be less than 175 lbs. Second, look at the back panel of your TV. If your TV has 4 holes or 6 holes on the back of the screen, measure the vertical and horizontal distance between the holes. If the vertical distance is within 2.95 inch to 18.9 inch, horizontal distance within 30.5 inch, then this bracket will fit. If you currently have a stand attached to your LCD TV this is usually removed prior to fitting the wall mount. Third, the width of your TV should be 32" or above. Otherwise the mount is too wide to hide behind your TV. This mount does not fit VESA800x400. If you have a TV need 800x400, please look at B000WXF7E4

4 out of 5 stars Use your own bolts!   June 24, 2008
When I went searching for a mount for our new 52" Samsung LCD, I found a wide variety of options (and prices), but this seemed like a good choice: inexpensive and relatively well-reviewed. As it turns out, it WAS a good choice. I would definitely buy it again, with the one caveat mentioned below.

The mount is made of moderately heavy steel and seems to be well-constructed. It arrived with a decent set of instructions, including information on how to attach it to different types of TVs. It took less than an hour to hang, and only 5 minutes to adjust to the proper viewing angle using two knobs on the top of the brackets. ONE TIP: Make sure you have all the cables attached BEFORE hanging the TV on the wall. Getting to the cables after it's up is nearly impossible, at least with our TV.

Now for the reason for the loss of a star: The bolts. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bolts supplied to attach the mount to the wall are of low-quality. I broke the head off of one of them while trying to tighten it. As a result, I have the butt-end of a bolt in my wall where I can't get it out, and I had to find an alternative position for the mount.

Lesson: Don't even try to use their bolts. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy some decent lag bolts. The price difference between this mount and anything else like it easily covers the cost of the bolts.

5 out of 5 stars PRICELESS VALUE   June 19, 2008

50" Panasonic Plasma Television. Mounted perfectly. The Installation process DOES require two people! My suggestion, try connecting equipment,IE Cable,HDMI Cables,Audio-Video lines to back of Tele before hoisting it onto Brackets. Excellent value,I have friends who have spent 5 times as much and the mounting appears exactly the same!

5 out of 5 stars Strong, well made TV bracket at a rock bottom price   June 6, 2008

I needed to hang a 50 inch Plasma TV on a wall. The TV is quite heavy and I was concerned about the quality of the bracket I ordered. This one really fit the bill. It is heavy duty, has a lot of versatility with respect to the included hardware. It is holding up the heavy TV very securely. Installation is straight forward, and it stands out a few inches because of the tilting mechanism, so there is an airflow behind the TV, to keep it cool. I would buy one before they raise the price. I have seen some in stores that cost a lot more and did not seem to be made as well.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect mount for 42" Vizio LCD   May 16, 2008

Great mount. Had all the necessary pieces. Only hard part to setting it up was finding where the wall beams were that I was going to mount it on (I found a Stanley electronic stud/wall beam detector for $20 at Target). Very sturdy, great construction. Very good deal. Intuitive. This was for a 42" Vizio LCD TV.

4 out of 5 stars Good for a 50" plasma   May 2, 2008

Despite having nightmares for three days about waking up to a cracked in half 50" plasma KURO, this mount is still going strong. I'm giving it a 4 because I DID have to go and buy much stronger anchors for the brick that I mounted it into. They're not expensive... just inconvenient. But for the price of the mount, who cares?
