 Samsung 26" LCD HDTV October 10, 2008
Very good product; just as advertised; sharp picture and easy to use. As usual, very EXCELLENT ordering and QUICK delivery time from Amazon suppliers.

This is my first HDTV and I couldn't be happier with the picture, it truely is amazing. The reason I give it 4* is because the sound is terrible, you really do NEED to buy external speakers. It sounds like a radio, which is a huge turn off if you doing something like playing guitar hero or watching mtv, things of that nature. I disregarded the other reviewers saying the sound is bad, it really is noticable. Just a little thing on my wish list, I wish it had S-Video, Headphone plug ins, but the 2 HDMI inputs make up for it. I also wish it had PIP. I just listed all the cons about the TV which may make you think that it's a bad HDTV, but it truely has AMAZING picture. Call of Duty 4 looks amazing with the HDMI input, and HD programs, like football, look amazing! Regualr channels do look like crap, as they do with most/all HDTV's. Just be weary that if you buy this set you will most likely also need to buy speakers and digital cable. I'd recommend this to anyone!
Misleading images - Bezel is thicker than it is in images. September 1, 2008

All of the advertising images of this TV are misleading. The black frame/bezel on this TV is actually about an inch wider than it appears to be in the advertising images of the TV. To me, this is a disappointment. Pretty good TV. Sound is ok but could be better. Seems to be some resonant vibration/distortion at moderate levels. Contrast range doesn't seem to meet specs.

I admit it, I'm a big fan of Samsung TV's! I have one in almost every size for different rooms in my home and vacation home. I have bought cheaper brands, but always regret it and end up replacing the cheaper brand with tried and true Samsung. Worth the extra money!

I needed a new T.V. for my apartment this upcoming school year and after doing a lot of looking this one seems to be the best T.V. for the price you can get it for. I couldn't find one single negative review on it on multiple websites. The T.V. has great picture quality and looks great when I play on my Xbox 360. HD channels also look crisp and clear if u have them. Has plenty of inputs so you can hook up plenty of stuff up to it. Since its a Samsung you know you will be getting a quality product which is going to last you.
It was easy to set up and its basically plug and watch. The T.V. will do all the work for you, just turn it on and have it auto configure itself and your good to go. Only 2 minor nuisances is that the auto configuration can take awhile but of course its a one time thing so its not like it will matter after the first time. The other is that it takes a long time for it to turn on after pressing the power button. Mine takes approximately 9 seconds for it to turn on after pressing power. When it comes to flaws on a T.v. I would have something as little as that rather than anything else. If you're on the fence about this T.V. I highly recommend to just go for it, you wont regret it.
